Plywood grade

The face quality rating of a sheet of plywood, given as a letter from A (nearest perfect) to D (large knots and patches), with the two faces rated separately, for example A-C.

Only the face you will see needs a good grade, so a cabinet can use A-C and hide the C face inside. Sheet goods are also sold by thickness, and nominal thickness is not exact: 3/4 inch plywood is usually about 23/32 inch.
