Wick size

The thickness and construction of the wick, chosen to suit the diameter of the container and the wax being used. Wicks are numbered or lettered by series, and the series matters as much as the number because different series burn differently in different waxes.

A common starting rule is to match the wick to the container diameter and then test, because the same wick behaves differently in soy, paraffin and coconut wax. Buy more than one size.
